In order for the mount to be truly versatile I needed it to support multiple mounting options on the bow. I didn't want to be forced to mount it just over my stabilizer or utilizing one of the manufacturer provided mounting holes. The design of the mount allows for it to be mounted just about anywhere on your bow. This unique capability also allows for the mount to be used on virtually any bow. I have yet to find a bow that it will not mount on.

Figure 1 and 2 shows how the mount can easily be attached utilizing any of the bows cut-outs. Figure 3 and 4 show how the mount can even be attached to the bows site. Even when the mount is attached to either of these alternative locations, the camera mount swing arm can still be easily rotated forward to position the camera out of harms way, then quietly slid back into position when the time is right.

Crossbow Mount

Because of the unique and versatile design of the InsaneArchery Camera Mount - it can easily be attached to most crossbows by utilizing the manufacturer's cut-outs or accessory mounting holes. If you would like to use this type of configuration, you'll need to order the optional Mounting Bracket. Or you can simply purchase a piece of 90 degree angle iron at most hardware stores.

Note: Actual hardware (screws, lock washers, nuts etc.) used to attached the camera bow mount or optional mounting bracket to your bow are not included with purchase and can be obtained at any hardware store for about $1.00 - $2.00.
